Along the Adriatic

We continued to travel down the east coast of Italy.

Our first stop was the Collefrisio Winery for a lovely wine tasting. We picked up a few souvenir bottles.

Then we drove south to Vieste, a coastal town overlooking the Adriatic Sea. We entered the city from the lively beachfront.

The streets and staircases brought us up to some great views.

Evenings by the water were gorgeous.

From breakfast on the terrace, to walking the streets, to seeing the limestone cliffs, our visit to Vieste was amazing!

The next day, we enjoyed a pretty drive to Bari.

Bari is known for its beautiful architecture, great food, and for having the largest port on the Adriatic coast. First we checked out the architecture, including the Basilica of Saint Francis.

Then we visited the port and enjoyed the food!

The people, the culture, the history – and the music – really make Bari an awesome town!
