Lake Como

We need to inform you that we have decided to move to Como, a small town on a lake in northern Italy.

There are just so many cool things about Como!

There is a Piazza del Duomo with a huge cathedral – pretty much a requirement in all Italian towns.

You can have a local, like Mario, tell you the history of Como while you walk through the streets, admire the buildings and taste the best foods and wines in town.

Tree-lined paths and beautiful walkways along Lake Como lead you to a funicular (train) that takes you up a steep slope to the charming town of Brunate.

Brunate has the required cathedral, and more.

Restaurants and cafes offer amazing views over the lake, as well as cool drinks, good food and friendly conversation with locals and fellow travelers.

Back in Como, the lively streets offer one beautiful restaurant after another, and some seriously fun bars!

Even George and Amal will fly in on a seaplane to join us for lunch, and then stay the night at their villa here.

Como is perfect for us! We are content here and will never, ever leave. Ciao!
