Monte Carlo

We realized that we may have been too impulsive with our move to St Remy. So we decided to continue our travels and not make any life-changing decisions just yet.

We drove to Monaco to spend a couple of days in Monte Carlo.

The Boutique Hotel Miramar lived up to its name, with a cozy room right on the waterfront.

We were hungry from a day of driving, so we walked to a corner cafe that offered snacks and an enormous limoncello spritz. It was perfect!

It was fun to walk the waterfront and see the beautiful boats docked there. It was hard to choose a favorite; you know, in case we win a big lottery!

We wrapped up our first day with a delicious seafood dinner at Le Mome, an elegant rooftop restaurant.

Our second day, we walked up steep, yet beautiful streets along the Monaco Grand Prix race circuit.

We stopped by the Casino Royale. It was a stunning building, both inside and out.

Also stunning were the nearby shops!

Walking back, we stopped to look at pretty flowers, attractive buildings, and a few cool cars!

Monte Carlo was a brief, but beautiful stop!
