We cruised into Norfolk Harbor.

In front of our boat, the city waterfront; behind, the naval station.

We took a walk around the city and enjoyed a beer and the view from ‘Grain’ a rooftop pub.

Noticing the mermaids, I asked Mr. Google; he said that one nickname for Norfolk is “City of Mermaids.”

Okay, maybe I had two beers at ‘Grain’!

The next morning was perfect for a walk along the waterfront.

The Battleship Wisconsin sticks into the city like that last scene in ‘Speed 2’.

Norfolk was definitely an interesting stop!
